HMAA Summer CONFERENCE

The language of the presentations: English or Hungarian

Location:  Electricity Park Várgesztes, 2824 Várgesztes, Hrsz. 201 25. 

Registration and abstract submission for our 2024 conference will be done simultaneously.
A presenter may submit one abstract in English only (the formal requirements for abstracts are available by scrolling down).

Deadline: 2024.06.29. midnight

Registration fees:

For HMAA members: 49 900 HUF

Non HMAA members: 65 000 HUF

The registration fee includes participation in the conference, conference gift package, 1 night accommodation (details below), lunch on Thursday and Friday, gala dinner on Friday.
It is also possible to attend the conference without a presentation, but in this case you will still need to register for a full registration, given the location and the accommodation and meals included in the registration fee. The same applies to accompanying persons.

How to register:

After redeeming your HMAA membership, we will send new members a one-time-use coupon code ("membership code") by email, which you will be able to redeem upon registration to pay the discounted registration fee.
Students supported by the four medical universities will receive a single-use voucher code ("registration code") from their local TDT after receiving the grant, which will be used to waive the discounted registration fee for HMAA members who are already active members at the time of registration. So in this case, the system will require 2 coupon codes. We can accept one registration per email address. It is possible to save the registration form temporarily, and the system will send an email to the registrant. The registration can be continued and finalised by clicking on the link sent in the email.
The registration fee can be paid by credit card or bank transfer.

Situated close to Tatabánya, the park surrounded by the greenery of the Vértes Mountains is the perfect place for a morning walk before the scientific sessions. A barbecue/fireplace and on-site wellness facilities are provided.

And one more extra: the HMAA has a surprise sports game this year, so join us!

Practical information about the Várgesztes Electric Park:
- From Tatabánya railway station you can take bus 8441 to the park, which drops you off directly in front of the entrance of our accommodation.
- For Friday (09.06.) night accommodation is provided in Comfort Plus Apartments - 4 double rooms/apartments.
- There is a small grocery store nearby, and refrigerators are available in the kitchens to store breakfast ingredients. Lunch and dinner are included in the registration fee.

Registration for the Conference and Abstract Submission

Registration for HMAA HC Várgesztes Conference 2024 and abstract submission will happen simultaneously. Each speaker may submit one abstract in English only (format requirements for abstracts can be found below).

Registration Fees:

- HMAA Member: 49,900 HUF

- Non-HMAA Members: 65,000 HUF

This also applies to accompanying persons.

Registration Process:

After securing HMAA membership, new members will receive a one-time coupon code ("membership code") via email, which can be used during registration to pay the discounted fee. Students supported by the four medical universities will receive a one-time coupon code ("registration code") from their local TDT after securing the support, which will waive the discounted registration fee for active HMAA In this case, two coupon codes must be provided to the system.

We can only accept one registration per email address. It is possible to temporarily save the registration form, and the system will send an email to the registrant. Registration can be continued and finalized by clicking the link in the email.

- There is a small convenience store in the vicinity and refrigerators are available in the kitchens, feel free to store your goods there for breakfast. Lunch and dinner is included.
